Michael Shellard
Michael Shellard is most recognized as singer/songwriter for the recording
group: One Horse Blue". Shellard has written and recorded many
hit songs for the band, including: "Cry Out For The Sun", "Lost
And Found", "Whats a Boy To Do", "Man Walks Alone", "Loves
Lookin' For Me", "Everything Money Can Buy", etc.
One Horse Blue was released on Sony Records.
As a recording artist and producer Michael has worked with many fine artits singing and playing on many records: K.D Lang, Lisa Brokop Gary Fjellagrd, Sharon Anderson, Lucille Star, Ralph Murphy, Bobby Woods, Ian Tyson, One Horse Blue.
Shellards experience and love of touring have allowed him to work in concert with many acts:"Dirt Band", Jorn Berry, Michelle Wright, Dessert Rose Band, Blue Rodeo, Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, and Randy Bachman Band.
Throughout his muusical career, Michael has kept in touch with is abilities as a solo artist. His voice rich and his playing style is mature and covers a very broad range. His instruments include: Guitars, piano, harmonicas, and voice. Michael has developed many relationships in the music community. He enjoyed a house gig at prestigous Grouse Mountain for several years actively playing dates solo as well as with his band.
Michael has performed extensively in Canada. He has performed in Los Angeles and Nashville. Shellard has played in Asia twice with engagements in Hong Kong and Taipei, Taiwan. In the summer of '99, Shellard was on tour with Randy Bachman Band, playing dates across Canada and US. Including the first Canadian Farm Aid Concert in Toronto.
Currently, Michael has released a new solo CD titled: "The Road I'm On". This recording projects will certainly keep Shellard busy playing dates and keeping up with radio. Michael will be singing and acting in an upcoming film later in 2000.
